A full system training program will be provided to the hired candidate.

It monitors rumination, accurately detects heats and tracks animal location in real time through intelligent ear tags which transmit data through receivers in the barn to an on-farm server. Individual animal data is analyzed through exclusive tech proprietary artificial intelligence system called APRIL (Animal Pattern Recognition IntelLigence). Our client’s Field Tech Support is a key position for this new technology with excellent knowledge in the system.

As part of the team, this role will work together with the commercial team and partner with our client’s third party installers to install and set up systems on dairy farms. The Optician will counsel with patients and will make important recommendations as well as offer guidance while respecting the important choices patients will make regarding their vision care. The opticians work closely with and under the guidance of an Optician. Precision, judgement and acute sense of responsibility are essential.   • The Optician must be able to complete necessary testing for eye examination.

Experience and Requirements:

  • Have experience using diagnostic tools and tests, including topography, refraction, slit lamp examination etc.

  • Be team-oriented and collaborative whilst being eager to learn and boast the ability to coach others.
