Our Client, leaders in their field of medicinal development and creation are seeking a Territory Manager - Cattle, Equine & Genetics portfolios, ultimately responsible for creating demand for the corresponding portfolio of products by changing customer prescribing and dispensing habits while increasing demand from end users.

Through effective territory management, the incumbent will align his/her work with organizational goals and objectives to ensure they meet or exceed sales performance targets. The Territory Manager will effectively execute selling and marketing directives while taking charge on ensuring promotional and commercial activities take place. In collaboration with other colleagues, the Territory Manager will seek to provide solutions that meet customer needs.

The geography of this position is Western Quebec and Eastern Ontario , the territory spans from Gatineau to Trois-Rivieres north of the St. Lawrence river, the candidate should reside within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Executes the organization’s strategy to meet or surpass performance goals
• Utilize the company’s Sales Model and Call Execution process to generate growth and sustain loyalty
• Anticipates customer's needs, issues and concerns based on customer and market knowledge; proactively matches needs to value proposition associated with the employer’s products and services
• Demonstrates market understanding, policies and role requirements
• Adheres to the organizational processes, policies and role requirements
• Takes lead to ensure the Distribution Channel supports our client’s business model 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience focused on a business or scientific discipline is a plus
• 2 years in related direct sales and/or marketing experience
• Knowledge of dairy/beef and equine industry & key players within those segments is a strong advantage. Expertise in the sales of MFA (medicated feed additives) will also be a strong attribute.
• Proven record of accomplishment, demonstrating successful sales experience or similar experience. Strong managerial profile is an important asset.
• Ability to learn scientific and technical information swiftly.
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills. Fluently bilingual English and French is considered an advantage.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Capacity to interact with veterinarians, technicians, specialists, dairy & beef producers, horse owners etc.
• Ability to work well in an interdependent sales team & independently
• Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, PP, with the capability of adapting to other applications
• Ability to travel and work nights and weekends as applicable to the territory
• Solid leadership skills with a thorough desire to seize accountability
