Our client, leaders in the field of eye care, have asked TALENT 300 to reach out to motivated Surgical Assistants. Our client is looking for an open minded, dedicated team player, able to handle a high level of responsibility with poise and sound judgement in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Reassure patients before and after their procedure and ensure that they feel comfortable by showing empathy.
  • Clearly explain to patients the schedule for postoperative medications.
  • Coordinate the flow of patients in and out of the operating room.
  • Collaborate with your colleagues in the preparation of the patient in the operating room.
  • Receive, sort, disassemble, decontaminate, clean, assemble, wrap, sterilize and store instruments.
  • Keep accurate records of sterile items.

Qualifications

  • You are a RPN or foreign trained MD.
  • You have a strong medical background (hospital, clinic, or surgical experience is considered an asset).
  • Excellent communication skills. Interest in the field of health and high-tech devices.
  • Meticulous, precise, rigorous, patient and focused.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
  • You are motivated to learn and grow within the company.

This position is permanent and full-time with an integration and specialized training program that is offered to new employees.
