Job description

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Talent Acquisition, this a great opportunity to join the growing Talent Acquisition team supporting the recruitment of functional and operational roles across North American business units. The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for the full life cycle recruitment for corporate roles. Your role will be to build an incredible candidate experience & bring creative practices to enable the organization to continuously improve how they attract, recruit and hire the right talent. You will ensure smooth delivery of services by implementing and monitoring KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive comprehensive recruitment and sourcing strategies to engage & identify talent for assigned client groups.
  • Manage the full lifecycle recruitment for a variety of different roles. This includes posting positions, proactively sourcing candidates through various channels, screening resumes, providing short lists to HRBP’s and hiring managers, scheduling/conducting interviews, making offers, creating offer letters and processing background checks.
  • Provide a trusted partnership and advisory role to Leaders, HR and other stakeholders within the organization including strong knowledge of best practices and market intelligence.
  • Source active and passive candidates, creating and managing a pipeline of top talent for key critical operational and functional roles across North America.
  • Provide strategic talent acquisition expertise to department leaders as well as provide coaching on interview practices and process.
  • Ensure optimal candidate and client experience while maintaining communication with applicants and hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, communicating the company’s employee culture and employee experience.
  • Liaise and partner with recruitment firms and agencies used for key positions or projects.
  • Participate in various internal and external events, to represent the company and attract new talent.
  • Monitor and measure recruitment results against Key Performance Indicators while ensuring all targets are met.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience of full cycle recruiting.
  • Experience in International recruitment is an asset.
  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • Member of the Ordre des CRHA is considered an asset.
  • Ability to positively influence and build partnerships at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent Leadership skills, with the ability to solve problems through collaboration and a commitment to getting the job done.
  • Professional, credible and possess the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external candidates & service providers.
  • Experience and expertise in the following areas: elevating the candidate experience, interviewing, proactive sourcing strategies, web-based media sourcing.
  • Ability to leverages social media tools designed for the purposes of recruitment;
  • Highly responsive with an ability to operate efficiently and effectively in fast paced, complex business environment.
  • Excellent Organizational skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills in both French and English.
  • Ability to manage through change and work independently.
  • Self-motivated, positive and flexible outlook.
  • High commitment to excellence and customer service.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ATS/HRMS systems.
