This is a 12 month mandate in Tegucigalpa, Honduras

The mandate stems from the Equality in Action Voluntary Cooperation Program (PCV), which is being rolled out in 12 countries and 3 regions over an eight-year period (2020-2028). The PCV aims to increase the involvement of local partner organizations in countries of intervention in inclusive, innovative and sustainable initiatives that will advance gender equality. Oxfam's role is to support these organizations, working with the most vulnerable and marginalized people, to claim and exercise their rights. Oxfam puts the rights of women, girls and vulnerable and marginalized people at the heart of everything we do.

Here's what your daily life will look like:

In close collaboration with Oxfam's in-country team members and partner organizations, your mandate will be to:

• Analyze and strengthen organizational learning and knowledge management practices within Oxfam Honduras and its partner organizations;
• Facilitate reflection, learning, and knowledge-sharing spaces to promote continuous improvement and the adoption of best practices;
• Coordinate and facilitate the PCV International Community of Practice, fostering participatory governance and a co-created learning agenda;
• Develop and strengthen knowledge management systems at national and international levels, ensuring the effective capture, organization, and sharing of resources, experiences, and lessons learned.

For this mandate you must:

• Be a Canadian citizen or have permanent resident status in Canada;
• Hold a university degree in Organizational Development, Strategic Planning, International Cooperation or any other relevant field; 
• Be fluent in spanish, french and english, spoken and written (required); 
• Have 2 years of relevant experience for the role;
• Master the Office suite.

• Monthly allowance for living expenses; 
• 20% increase in living allowance for an accompanying child (maximum of 2 children). 
• 1,500$ CAN per year/per child for schooling. 
• Monthly amount for rent; 
• Round trip flight with 2 checked luggage;

• 200$ CAD for additional luggage; 
• Advantageous medical insurance for you and the accompanying child(ren); 
• A volunteer support program during your mandate and up to two months after your return to Canada; 
• 20 days of vacation and other holidays; 
• Access to various training courses (E-Learning, etc.);

Honduras – Consejero.a en gestión de conocimiento

Se trata de una misión de 12 meses en Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

El mandato es parte del Programa de Cooperación Voluntaria (PCV) de Igualdad en Acción, que se ejecuta en 12 países y 3 regiones durante un período de ocho años (2020-2028). El PCV tiene como objetivo aumentar la participación de las socias locales en los países de intervención a través de iniciativas inclusivas, innovadoras y sostenibles que promoverán la igualdad de género. El papel de Oxfam consiste en apoyar a estas organizaciones, trabajando con las personas más vulnerables y marginalizadas, para que revindiquen y ejerzan sus derechos. Oxfam pone los derechos de las mujeres, las niñas y las personas vulnerables y marginalizadas en el centro de todo lo que hace.

Esto es lo que será su vida diaria:

En estrecha colaboración con los miembros del equipo de Oxfam en el país y las organizaciones socias, su mandato consistirá en:

• Diagnosticar y fortalecer las prácticas de aprendizaje organizacional y gestión del conocimiento de Oxfam Honduras y de sus socias locales;
• Facilitar espacios de reflexión, aprendizaje y sistematización para promover la mejora continua de las prácticas;
• Coordinar y dinamizar la comunidad de práctica internacional del PCV, promoviendo una gobernanza participativa y una agenda de aprendizaje construida conjuntamente; 
• Desarrollar y consolidar mecanismos de intercambio y gestión del conocimiento a escala nacional e internacional, facilitando la documentación, organización y difusión de recursos, experiencias y aprendizajes.

Para este mandato debe:

• Ser ciudadano.a canadiense o tener la condición de residente permanente en Canadá;
• Tener un títuló universitario en desarrollo organizacional, planificación estratégica, cooperación internacional o cualquier otro campo pertinente;
• Tener al menos 2 años de experiencia relacionada con el mandato;
• Poseer el dominio del español hablado y escrito (obligatorio);
• Poseer el dominio de Microsoft Office.

Lo que ofrecemos:

• Una asignación de subsistencia mensual para gastos de base;
