Joining Oxfam-Québec

Volunteering for an Oxfam-Québec cooperation project is not just about using your talents. You’ll join a team dedicated to fighting inequality and ending poverty and injustice around the world.

The volunteer cooperation program draws on the skills and expertise of hundreds of volunteers from all cultural backgrounds and walks of life, including professionals, retired and semi-retired people, and youth.

Volunteers in Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East join local organizations working with vulnerable populations to create lasting change in their communities.

This option allows you to submit a spontaneous application, i.e. an application that is not linked to a currently advertised position. Your profile will then be considered proactively when positions matching your experience, skills and aspirations become available.

We are looking for people working in the following fields:

- Communication

- Digital marketing

-Human resources and organisational development

- Financial administration and logistics

- Gender and social inclusion

- Environment

- Monitoring, evaluation and learning

- Advocacy and campaigning

- Fundraising

- Social entrepreneurship

To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years old and be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.

When submitting your candidacy, please specify your country(ies) of interest from the following list:

- Peru

- Bolivia

- El Salvador

- Honduras

- Morocco

- Tunisia

- Senegal

- Burkina Faso

- Ghana

However, submitting a spontaneous application does not guarantee immediate contact.
