The Product Marketing Coordinator is a key support role in our product-driven organization. The incumbent will support market assessments, competitive intelligence reporting as well as analyze and recommend improvements for new product growth. This person must have a strong understanding of product economics, as well as an ability to analyze different product-related data sets to reach conclusions that contribute to growth. This position requires close collaboration with the Marketing/Product colleagues around the world, Sales, Operations and Finance.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with cross-functional teams: Assisting in cross-functional coordination for major product releases

• Conduct thorough research to identify market trends and determine potential opportunities

• Monitor competitors, identify strengths and weaknesses to inform product development strategies.

• Track and analyze new product data, identifying areas for improvement or growth opportunities and to create and share these insights monthly within the first 90 days of a new product launch

• Create and maintain product spec sheets, as well as product master data

• Share product assets (copy, features, enhanced content + specs) to Sales teams based on retailer-specific requirements (online and/or Brick & mortar)

• Tracking and organizing user feedback/reviews on top ecommerce platforms (Amazon, Walmart, Target)

• Lead the product creation process by submitting item request forms through our project management system as well as any new item pricing approval submission forms

• Support Product Managers with new item follow ups and packaging artwork approvals

• Coordinate with departments (Sales, Operations and CSR) to ship new product or packaging samples globally

• Create Purchase Orders for all Product team invoices and track expenses in budget tracker

• Contribute to sales line review presentations for sales pitches

• Add new products to the Bazaar Voice catalogue upon launch

• Review customer questions through Bazaar Voice application to help answer and uncover product issues

• Help with review programs by working with Stellar / Wholescale programs for product review seeding

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Commerce or Administration, Product or Brand Management (or in progress)

• 1-2 years’ experience in product marketing or product management

• Results focused and an analytical thinker with a background in data analysis

• Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix (product, price, promotional, place)

• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, background in Finance or Pricing a strong asset

• Up to date with latest trends and product management / product launch best practices

• Performance-driven individual with an ease of working with data and metrics and BI models

• Excellent communications skills with an ability to translate data into actionable insights

• Experience with MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word a must

• Experience with product master data, item initiations and maintenance, considered a bonus

• Knowledge of French and English required as this role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders across the world.

Responsabilités 

Croissance de la catégorie et analytique

  • Analyser les données de marché, les tendances consommateurs et la performance des produits afin de soutenir la croissance des catégories et l’optimisation des assortiments;
  • Développer et maintenir des tableaux de bord et rapports de performance internes afin d’assurer la visibilité des résultats auprès de la direction;
  • Fournir des rapports précis et factuels pour appuyer la prise de décision interne et le suivi des performances;
  • Soutenir la planification modulaire, les transitions de produits et les initiatives promotionnelles;
  • Garantir la confidentialité et la fiabilité des données traitées dans le cadre des analyses internes.

Soutien à l’exécution et aux opérations

  • Maintenir et mettre à jour les listes de produits, attributs et contenus sur les portails clients afin d’assurer leur exactitude et leur facilité d’achat;
  • Soutenir les transitions de produits, les mises à jour d’emballage et la préparation des promotions en collaboration avec les équipes internes;
  • Coordonner avec la chaîne d’approvisionnement et le marketing pour assurer l’alignement des lancements, promotions et exécutions en magasin.

Coordination interfonctionnelle et administrative

Offrir un soutien logistique et administratif pour les échantillons, la documentation et la coordination des emballages entre les différentes équipes;

Collaborer avec le marketing pour adapter les supports et visuels aux exigences des détaillants tout en maintenant la cohérence de la marque;

Faciliter la communication et la documentation afin d’assurer une exécution fluide des plans d’affaires et des livrables clients.

Exigences du poste

  • Baccalauréat en administration, marketing, analytique ou dans un domaine connexe; un MBA est considéré comme un atout;
  • 3 à 5 ans d’expérience en gestion de catégorie, analytique de détail ou soutien aux ventes;
  • Expérience pertinente dans un environnement de commerce de détail majeur;
  • Solides compétences analytiques et expérience avec les outils POS, Nielsen, Retail Link et Luminate;
  • Maîtrise avancée d’Excel (tableaux croisés dynamiques, modélisation de données, création de tableaux de bord); Solides compétences en PowerPoint pour communiquer les données de manière claire et percutante;
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication, en organisation et en collaboration interfonctionnelle;
  • Grande rigueur et capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités simultanément;
  • Bilinguisme (français/anglais).

Responsibilities

Category Growth & Analytics

  • Analyze market data, shopper trends, and product performance to support category growth and assortment optimization.
  • Build and maintain internal dashboards and performance reports to ensure leadership visibility on key results.
  • Provide accurate, fact-based reports to support internal decision-making and performance tracking.
  • Support modular planning, product transitions, and promotional initiatives.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and reliability of all data handled for analytical purposes.

Execution & Operational Support

  • Maintain and update product listings, attributes, and content across customer portals to ensure accuracy and shopability.
  • Support product transitions, packaging updates, and promotional readiness in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and Marketing to align launches, promotions, and in-store execution.

Cross-Functional & Administrative Coordination

  • Provide logistical and administrative support for samples, documentation, and packaging coordination across departments.
  • Work with Marketing to adapt materials and visuals to specific retailer requirements while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Facilitate communication and documentation to ensure smooth execution of business plans and deliverables.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field;
  • MBA considered an asset. 3–5 years of experience in Category Management, Retail Analytics, or Sales Support.
  • Experience in a major retail environment; experience working with Walmart is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong analytical ability and experience with POS data, Nielsen, Retail Link, and Luminate.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data modeling, dashboards).
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation design skills to clearly communicate insights.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
