Le rôle du/de la Gestionnaire marketing produit est double : agir comme expert(e) des produits et des catégories (recherche, concurrence, avis clients, etc.) ainsi qu’expert(e) en mise en marché pour les plans de lancement, le matériel marketing, les outils d’aide à la vente et plus encore. Ce poste exige une collaboration étroite avec les équipes de communication marketing et de produits à travers le monde, ainsi qu’avec les équipes des ventes, des opérations et des finances.

Position Summary
The Product-Marketing Manager’s role is two-fold: subject matter expert for their products and categories (research, competition, customer reviews, etc.) as well as a ‘go to market’ expert for development launch plans, marketing materials, sales enablement tools and more. This position requires close collaboration with their Marketing communications and product colleagues around the world, Sales leadership, Operations and Finance.
Role and Responsabilities
• Experience in launching products in new markets globally where import or operational requirements need to be considered for marketing specific claims on packaging, master case, country of origin, local icons, etc.
• Lead the NPD (new product development) process as key stakeholder and recommend launch requirements, as well as contribute to idea generation based on local market requirements.
• Develop project plans for key launches and adapt messaging that differentiates our products in the market. Where appropriate, implement global branding on assets, sales tools, etc. based on regional retailer/distributor requirements.
• Develop pricing & channel management strategies to drive volume, while growing margin.
• Adapt messaging, creative and manage translation requirements for different markets.
• Act as main contact for distributor relations, including gathering requirements for local marketing & sales assets, responding to new requests, prioritizing workload and international projects.
• Analyze a variety of product-related data sets to recommend improvements to product/category health. This includes but is not limited to: pricing, reviews, content health, retailer advertising models (PPC, display).
• Create, distribute and share insights related to product performance within a 90-day post launch timeframe.
• Create product spec sheets as an input to the development process, as well as for product master data.
• Use voice of customer data (VOC) to uncover product issues or corrective actions, and contribute to cross-functional processes with Engineering, QA and Product Development for improvements.
• Act as main point of reference for technical product questions and requirements pre and post launch (including new customer support requirements post launch).
• Monitor market trends, research markets and competitors to identify opportunities and key issues.
• Review all communications materials as a peer-review system for quality of content.
• Knowledge of local markets’ packaging, language and requirements for compliance or marketing claims, with the help of Sales & Distributor colleagues.
• Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling of products; this includes innovative merchandising concepts.
• Brief internal and external team for assets requirements; coordinate expenditures, approvals for 3rd party quotes, as well as working with external agency partners when required.
Requirements
• Bachelor of Commerce or Administration, Product or Brand Management.
• 5-7 years’ experience in product marketing or product management.
• Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix (product, price, promotional, place).
• Performance-driven individual with an ease of working with data.
• Exceptional functional expertise in print production and sales tools development.
• Autonomous, sense of initiative and solution-oriented approach.
• Great sense of prioritization, ability to manage several projects at once and to meet tight deadlines.
• Great interpersonal skills, solid team player, great ability to adapt to change.
• Experience in vendor management and project management workflow.
• Excellent communications skills with a strong eye for details.
• Experience with MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word a must.
• Experience in Europe, South America or Asia considered a bonus.
