The position reports to the Assistant Controller and will be responsible for providing administrative services and accounting support.

RECEPTION

  • Continuously provides high-quality customer service at reception  Greets customers and suppliers with courtesy
  • Managing COVID-19 protocols – controlled entry, screening employees and customers/suppliers etc.
  • Answers, transfers, screens, and distributes phone calls professionally and timely 
  • Receives, date stamps and distributes mail and couriers appropriately within a respectable period
  • Prepare and follow up on outgoing courier shipments (FedEx, Purolator, In-town), as required
  • Makes reservations for conference rooms, flights, and accommodations for employees, when necessary
  • Coordinates office meeting luncheons
  • Maintains the reception and boardroom areas, keeping the environment clean and stocked, at all times
  • Maintains office equipment and orders office supplies
  • Manages company vehicle sign out and return log
  • Maintains MCO invoice log  Prepares and distributes Statutory Declarations
  • Perform any other task related to the position.

ACCOUNTING

  • Maintains MCO_Company Emails – Distributing Job Start, Stat Dec, Vendor setup documents etc.
  • Scanning and importing weekly cheque runs into digital document management system
  • Distributes cheques to the various subcontractors and suppliers
  • Receives invoices from subcontractors and suppliers, importing via a digital document management system
  • Prepares Excel spreadsheets detailing costs, projects, and general ledger coding for detailed payable invoices (Bell Mobility, Element, Home Depot etc)
  • Performs data entry in the digital document management system
  • Performs any other tasks related to the position

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Degree in Office Administration or degree in Accounting;
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office platform (Word, Excel); 
  • Punctual and reliable;

Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, the Superintendent is responsible to provide overall on-site management, administrative and technical direction on project construction. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work in close collaboration with the project manager and site superintendent;
  • Participate in worksite meetings with professionals and subcontractors;
  • Coordinate change orders between professionals and subcontractors for cost estimation and work execution;
  • Coordinate and follows up with subcontractors of all activities related to the progress of work on the construction site;
  • Ensure quality control for finishing work;
  • Prepare and follow up on technical questions in relation to plans and specifications;
  • Assist the manager in the management of payment requests to the client and those of subcontractors;
  • Participate in the management and review of shop drawings and samples;
  • Participate in the monitoring of ''Conflict Detections'' when the project is carried out in in BIM;
  • Help monitor and manage deficiencies at project completion;
  • Ensure the assembly of final project documents in collaboration with the Administrative Assistant;
  • Ensure monitoring of services rendered by consultants (drawings, specifications, construction supervision, acceptance of work);
  • Assist in the development of the schedule;
  • Perform any other task related to the position.

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor of Engineering (construction, building or civil) or technical studies diploma (architecture or civil);
  • 1 to 5 years of relevant experience;
  • Proficiency in MS Office software, MS Project;
  • Knowledge of Procore (asset); 
  • LEED accreditation (an asset);

Reporting to the Superintendent, this position is responsible for the smooth running of the day to day filed operations to ensure the project is completed safely, on time and within budget.

Reporting to the Director of Special Projects this position is responsible for managing all Special Projects operations in Ontario. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel and plays a critical role in project development and delivery by overseeing business development and client relations. Also responsible for maintaining and developing close relationships with current and future clientele.

This position reports to the Director of Special Projects for Ontario and is assigned to directly support Projects and Project Managers across Ontario.

Reporting to the Director, Preconstruction Services, this position will create, maintain, update, and manage critical project schedules for project pursuits as well as on-going construction projects. This position will liaison between the estimating and project management teams and all other stakeholders to meet organizational targets.

Reporting to the Chief Estimator, the Senior Estimator is responsible for managing the procurement process for all assigned projects from the concept to lump sum tender, including participation in the contract letting and planning stage. This role is responsible for management of assigned estimating staff subcontractor/supplier relations and continual development of estimating procedures and processes to achieve the Company business plan. This position requires a highly experienced, dynamic leader with sound knowledge of fundamental estimating, excellent vendor and client relationship ability and business development.

Reporting to the President, this position is responsible for providing administrative support to the executive team of the organization.

Reporting to the Director of Construction, this position is responsible for the success of projects under his/her leadership in directing the overall operations and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager assumes a leadership role in developing and implementing the project plan and budget / cost management.

Reporting to the Director of Preconstruction, this position is responsible for the management and overall outcome of the project assigned by ensuring that it conforms to the design, the budget, and the schedule.
