The HSE Advisor will support multiple construction projects throughout London and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for someone looking to continue building their career in construction health and safety while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
Our successful candidate will work closely with site supervision, field staff, subcontractors, and management to help promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits of work activities, equipment, and jobsite conditions
- Identify unsafe conditions, safety concerns, near misses, and incidents, and assist with corrective actions
- Work collaboratively with site teams and subcontractors to ensure company safety expectations and procedures are followed
- Assist with incident investigations, documentation, and follow-up actions
- Participate in site orientations, toolbox talks, and safety meetings
- Build positive working relationships with field staff, supervisors, and trade partners
- Support ongoing safety initiatives and help promote safe work practices on site
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
- Travel between multiple job sites throughout the day as required
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, or a related field is considered an asset
- 1–3 years of construction safety experience preferred
- Knowledge of Ontario Occupational Health & Safety Act and construction safety regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships on site
- Confident, approachable, and comfortable working with field teams and subcontractors
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while also contributing within a team environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

This role will involve coordinating multiple projects across several active sites, including interior renovations, fit-outs, and small-scale additions. Work will frequently occur in occupied environments and may require after-hours scheduling to minimize disruption.
While this role will initially focus on a specific client group, successful candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of Special Projects work over time across different sectors.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate site activities across multiple projects, ensuring schedules and quality standards are met
- Manage multiple projects across several sites, with the flexibility to support a range of project types as business needs evolve
- Work closely with subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives to manage site logistics
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to access, sequencing, and site constraints
- Monitor productivity and maintain strong control over timelines and deliverables
- Travel between multiple job sites throughout the day
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of site supervision experience (or similar)
- Strong planning and coordination skills, particularly in active or logistically complex environments
- Experience with commercial interiors or institutional work is an asset
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable working across different project types and environments as assignments evolve
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites
