Our Special Projects team is currently seeking a Site Superintendent based out of Hamilton, Ontario to support projects across institutional and commercial environments.
This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys variety—managing multiple smaller projects across different sites, including renovations, fit-outs, and occasional additions. Work may take place during evenings or after hours, depending on project requirements.
While this role will initially focus on a specific client group, successful candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of Special Projects work over time across different sectors.
Responsibilities
- Be the go-to person on site for all employees, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
- Manage multiple projects across several sites, with the flexibility to support a range of project types as business needs evolve
- Oversee daily site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Communicate project updates, challenges, and progress to the management team
- Adapt quickly to changing site conditions and project needs
- Travel between multiple locations as required
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of site supervision experience (or similar)
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-moving environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions on the fly
- Excellent communication and a proactive, accountable approach to work
- Comfortable working across different project types and environments as assignments evolve
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between sites daily
- Flexibility to work evenings or after hours as required
- Must be able to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
Expected Compensation: $100,000-125,000
