We are recruiting an Operations Administrator to join our collaborative and growing team in Owen Sound, ON. As an Operations Administrator, you will support day-to-day activities of the Senior Management Team and project administrative activities, including maintenance of all procurement related filing, project documentation and transmittals, and open Purchase Orders. You also play a key role in various administrative duties, such as the upkeep and maintenance of the office space, coordinating incoming and outgoing mail and couriers, and tending to our reception space and visitors when required. This will be a full-time position, working Monday through Friday from our office in Owen Sound, ON.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all procurement related filing
  • Maintain and coordinate schedules relating to vacations, sick days, and company and industry events for the department
  • Assist with review of open Purchase Order reports for various projects and identify issues of open Purchase Orders
  • Assist with project documentation filing & transmittals
  • Contact vendors to receive/correct invoicing
  • Support the Supply Chain, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable departments with all required administrative tasks
  • Process labour requests and referrals
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mailings/couriers
  • Handle reception visitors as required
  • Organize and maintain a list of office supplies
  • Various office administration as required, including maintenance of the office space

What You Bring:

  • Successful completion of an Office and/or Business Administration program
  • 2 years’ experience working in a related position. A combination of experience and education would be considered, including new graduates
  • Previous experience within the construction industry would be considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently, or within a team, as required during the completion of assigned tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excelled customer service skills
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook)
  • Attention to detail
