JOB DESCRIPTION
Devolutions is seeking a talented German-speaking Sales Development Representative to expand our presence across Europe.
As a Sales Development Representative, you play a key role in identifying and qualifying business opportunities. You act as the first point of contact for prospective or existing clients, efficiently manage standard inquiries, and actively contribute to Devolutions' growth through your ability to understand client needs and collaborate with internal teams. This is a hybrid position requiring on-site presence at our Málaga office three days per week.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Management & Sales Cycle
- Act as the first point of contact for potential or existing clients and assess the nature of their needs and the complexity level.
- Transfer more complex cases requiring greater expertise (DVLS, Hub, PAM, Gateway) to the manager.
- Qualify clients by following a clearly established procedure (questions to ask, follow-up timing, elements to send, etc.).
- Host virtual meetings and present basic products.
- Follow up with clients after trial periods, proposals, etc.
- Prepare quotes and invoices using standard templates.
- Handle transactions involving 1 to 24 users regardless of organization type.
- Participate in sales cycles of 0 to 30 days.
- Manage a high volume of simple to moderate inbound requests.
Leadership & Mentoring
- Work in collaboration with a level 1 Technician in the Support department to assist potential or existing clients with their business needs and level 1 technical issues.
Communication
- Initiate and manage client communications for standard requests while practicing active listening to understand needs.
- Communicate professionally and adapt responses and vocabulary to different client profiles while presenting Devolutions products clearly.
Artificial Intelligence
- Use AI tools to optimize daily tasks such as account research, call preparation, personalized emails, and lead prioritization.
- Leverage CRM insights and validate AI-generated content to improve client qualification and ensure relevance and quality.
REQUIRED ABILITIES
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
- Strong interest in Sales and customer service with a focus on execution and continuous learning.
- Familiarity with technical sales terminology.
- Foundational knowledge of IT systems and technologies.
- Ability to resolve Tier 3 client needs (and occasionally Tier 2) using existing tools and processes.
- Ability to recommend appropriate products, escalate complex cases, and negotiate pricing when required.
- Ability to manage incoming leads and initial client communications independently while following procedures and documentation.
- Ability to identify appropriate resources, prioritize strategic clients, and improve efficiency in task and time management.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Education in Sales, IT Support, or a related field.
- 0–1 year of experience in sales or customer service.
- A university degree or equivalent relevant experience is considered an asset.
