JOB DESCRIPTION
Devolutions is seeking a talented Customer Support Technician to support clients across Europe and European time zones. This is a hybrid position requiring on-site presence at our Málaga office three days per week.
The customer support technician at Devolutions plays an essential role in the technical support of our customers by providing first-level assistance for our products. You will be the initial point of contact for our customers and play a key role in resolving problems and ensuring customer satisfaction. If you are passionate about technology, have excellent communication skills and are customer service oriented, this is the job for you.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide first-level technical support via email, chat, the Devolutions Forum, and remote sessions in response to customer inquiries about Devolutions products.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues by following established procedures and leveraging internal and external resources.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to provide pre-sales technical support and help demonstrate product value to prospective customers.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance and Development teams to document, report, and escalate customer-reported issues and bugs.
- Participate in a call rotation or standby schedule as required.
REQUIRED ABILITIES
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical and business concepts.
- Customer-oriented mindset with confidence, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and remain organized in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Dutch language skills are considered an asset.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Technical training in IT support or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' of experience in a technical support role.
