JOB DESCRIPTION

Devolutions is seeking a talented German-speaking customer support technician to expand our customer support service in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, and other locations in Europe. The customer support technician at Devolutions plays an essential role in the technical support of our customers by providing first-level assistance for our products. You will be the initial point of contact for our customers and play a key role in resolving problems and ensuring customer satisfaction. If you are passionate about technology, have excellent communication skills and are customer service oriented, this is the job for you.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide first-level technical support by e-mail, chat or remote session in response to customer inquiries about our products.
  • Diagnose and resolve customer technical issues following established procedures and using internal and external resources.
  • Collaborate with the sales team by providing pre-sales technical support to help demonstrate the value of our products to potential customers.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team and development team to report problems and bugs encountered by customers.
  • May be required to be involved in a call/standby system.


REQUIRED ABILITIES

  • Perfect German and English Speaking and Writing.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to explain business and technical concepts with ease.
  • Self-confidence, sociability and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and complete work despite numerous interruptions are essential qualities.


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Technical qualification in IT support or equivalent experience.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in technical support.

This position will be remote until Spring 2026, after which on-site presence at our Málaga office will be required three days per week.
