Medical Secretary
Casual

COME WORK WITH US!

The Health Centre has an ongoing opening for casual Medical Secretary support (We call them Client Care Support specialists!)

This casual role works together with 1-2 other specialists greeting callers and visitors, providing information, and directing inquiries to the appropriate place. Checking clients in and booking their next appointment as well as offering administrative support to clinicians (resource sharing, chart management, scanning/faxing) means this position is critical to smooth clinical flow. This individual must be able to troubleshoot a range of requests, prioritize urgency and adapt to changing needs.

The Client Care Support specialist plays a key role in maintaining the overall welcoming tone of the reception area and responds effectively to problems and difficult situations that may arise. The ideal candidate would prefer variety in their work day and enjoy the opportunity to get out from behind the desk and help wherever needed. As the first point of contact for clients, the Client Care Support specialist must be sensitive to the barriers that many individuals face when accessing health care services. This position involves a high regard for confidentiality and compassionate understanding; high attention to detail is crucial.
