The Opportunity

The Territory Manager is responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales goals while expanding Medicom’s market presence within the assigned territory.

This individual represents the company’s image to our customer base, supports dealer relationships, and executes the marketing and sales go-to-market strategy with excellence.

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with dealer sales professionals and key strategic accounts to increase Medicom’s branded product sales.
  • Conduct lead follow-up, education sessions, sales presentations, and joint co-travel visits.
  • Drive and promote evening educational events with end-user clinicians and dealers.
  • Learn and communicate features and benefits of all Medicom branded products to influence purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the dental market and competitor product lines.
  • Log sales activities into Salesforce (CRM) and submit expenses accurately and on time.
  • Attend meetings, trade shows, and conventions as assigned, including those outside the territory.
  • Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with dealers, key accounts, and clinical end-users.
  • Meet or exceed territory sales quotas and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Implement established marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Communicate competitive market insights proactively.
  • Create customer plans and make strategic recommendations to management.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and programs.
  • Respond promptly to customer questions, opportunities, and concerns. 
  • Continuously refresh product knowledge and industry awareness.
  • Conduct weekly customer visits to drive territory sales growth.
  • Travel using a personal vehicle (reimbursed according to policy).
  • Maintain a functional home office if required.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of direct experience in external sales.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build meaningful customer relationships quickly.
  • Organized, analytical, and results-driven approach to territory planning.
  • Strong understanding of the dental market or ability to learn quickly.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Ability to work independently and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Assets

  • Previous dental or medical sales experience.
  • Experience in healthcare or dental market environments.
  • Clinical background such as RDH or RDA.
  • Sales training certifications or coursework.
