The Opportunity

Medicom is seeking a results-driven Territory Manager to accelerate growth across our Lab & Research and Medical markets in the Eastern U.S.

You’ll own a geographic territory, build and execute account plans, drive conversions with end users, and scale results through distribution partner, while maintaining impeccable CRM hygiene and projecting a best-in-class brand image.

What You Will Do

  • Hit and exceed sales targets while managing to a predetermined expense budget.
  • Serve as the primary sales contact for end users and distribution partners; develop customer plans and recommendations.
  • Network across the supply chain (distributors, GPOs/IDNs, prospects) to open doors and accelerate deals.
  • Maintain accurate CRM (Salesforce) records on opportunities, programs, and pipeline; report competitive intel proactively.
  • Visit customers on-site to drive conversions; participate in trade shows, customer events, and sales meetings.
  • Resolve customer concerns (products, backorders, billing, pricing) and continuously refresh product knowledge.
  • Maintain a fully functional home office; submit expenses per policy; extensive territory travel may be required.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of demonstrated commercial success in Lab & Research and Medical markets, with both direct and distribution sales experience.
  • Proven quota attainment and territory-building capability; experience selling consumables.
  • Ability to present multiple product lines to diverse decision makers; strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Tech-savvy: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, Power BI, and Salesforce CRM.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills; comfortable with regular travel.
  • Education: Post-secondary education required (university degree is an asset).

Assets

  • Experience with distribution partners in the lab segment (e.g., Fisher Scientific, VWR) and medical distributors.
  • Experience working with U.S. GPOs and IDNs and negotiating large, complex contracts.
  • Background in PPE (gloves, gowns, masks).
