The Opportunity
As an Account Manager, Medical Sales USA, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets within your assigned territory while maintaining and enhancing Medicom’s presence in the U.S. medical market. You will develop strong relationships with key decision-makers, manage channel partners, and strategically expand Medicom’s reach in both acute and non-acute healthcare segments.
What You Will Do
- Manage Medicom and AMD Ritmed medical sales in the U.S., with a primary focus on the non-acute segment and a strategic focus on acute markets.
- Drive sales for Medicom Branded and Private Label products in collaboration with the North American Director of Sales.
- Develop and manage key medical channel partnerships and distribution networks.
- Target U.S. health systems and position Medicom’s value proposition to penetrate new accounts.
- Maintain close relationships with senior-level stakeholders at key customer accounts.
- Work with the contracting team to manage and negotiate current and future contracts.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Business Intelligence to align strategies and market intelligence.
- Project a positive industry presence and reinforce Medicom’s reputation.
- Manage sales quotas within a predetermined expense budget.
- Track and communicate competitive insights and market trends.
- Develop and maintain customer plans, making recommendations to management.
- Support distribution partners and strengthen relationships throughout the supply chain.
- Act as the primary sales contact for acute and non-acute healthcare providers.
- Address customer concerns related to products, orders, and backorders with urgency.
- Stay informed about product knowledge and industry trends.
- Represent Medicom at trade shows, customer events, and sales meetings.
- Provide recommendations for improved sales systems and procedures.
- Conduct on-site visits with customers as needed.
What You Bring
- 12+ years of proven success in medical sales.
- Strong ability to present multiple product lines to various decision-makers.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with key stakeholders.
- Strong sales growth track record, meeting and exceeding quotas.
- Proficiency in Power BI, MS Excel, MS Teams, Word, SFDC, and Outlook.
- Ability to identify and develop new sales opportunities while maintaining existing business.
Assets
- Experience in Key Account Management.
- Strong knowledge of distribution networks in the non-acute healthcare sector.
- Ability to develop and maintain long-term business relationships. MBA preferred.
Other Requirements
- Availability to travel within the U.S. and Canada.
- Ideally located in the East/Northeast U.S.
- Ability to maintain a fully functional home office.
