The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Set-Up Operator to join our team on a highly automated nitrile glove dipping line. This role is critical to ensuring optimal line performance, product quality, and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience with automated production equipment, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

What You Will Do
  • Set up and adjust glove dipping line equipment according to production specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor and optimize line performance, ensuring consistent output and minimizing waste.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process issues in real-time to maintain continuous operation.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on dipping line machinery and automation systems.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to resolve recurring issues and implement improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, SOPs, and quality control standards.
  • Document adjustments, downtime, and corrective actions in production logs or digital systems.
  • Train and support junior operators on equipment setup and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
    What You Bring
    • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
    • A high school diploma (or equivalent).
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a production adjuster, set-up operator, or similar role in a high-speed automated nitrile glove manufacturing environment.
    • Experience in glove dipping, chemical handling, or coating processes
    • Familiarity with PLC-controlled systems, robotics, and automated conveyors is highly desirable.
    • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Basic computer skills for data entry and system monitoring.
    • Ability/willingness to work rotating 12 hour continental shifts.
    What We Offer

    Compensation

    The starting hourly rate for this position is $25 per hour.

    Additional premiums may apply, including evening, night, weekend, or other shift premiums where applicable.
