The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to lead operations at our state-of-the-art nitrile glove manufacturing facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient production, maintaining product quality, and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and proven troubleshooting skills. Experience launching or scaling up a new manufacturing facility will be considered a significant asset.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and manage production teams across multiple shifts in a high-speed, automated environment.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and mentor supervisors and line leaders to achieve operational excellence.
  • Oversee daily operations of dipping lines, mixing room, packaging systems, and material handling.
  • Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are consistently met.
  • Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to address variances.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and engineering to minimize downtime and optimize equipment.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve production, mechanical, and quality issues.
  • Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve yield.
  • Lead or participate in commissioning new production lines or facilities.
  • Develop SOPs, training programs, and workflows for startup environments.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, FDA, CE, and other relevant standards.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture and lead incident investigations.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 10+ years in nitrile glove or polymer-based manufacturing, with at least 5+ years in leadership.
  • Strong expertise in automated production lines, robotics, PLC systems, and SCADA.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment and process issues.
  • Demonstrated success leading diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA, CE, and other applicable standards.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present to executives and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in production analytics tools.

Assets

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement training.
  • Experience with ERP systems and digital manufacturing platforms.
