Quality Inspector

Cahill is currently seeking a Quality Inspector to support ongoing projects at our Long Harbour site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working on-site in Long Harbour for a four-week assignment on a night shift schedule.

What will you do?

• Ensure all requirements of Inspection and Test Plans are followed and verified
• Verify and maintain welder qualification records
• Monitor welding and carry out final weld visual inspection
• Request and verify NDE completion
• Receive, inspect and verify material in accordance with specifications
• Prepare final documentation for handover
• Maintain traceability as required by certifying authorities
• Liaise with clients and regulatory authorities on project-related issues

What will you bring?

• Minimum CWB Level 2 Certification Required
• W47.1/59 and/or ASME B31.3 endorsement
• Experience in a similar quality role is considered an asset
• Knowledge of ASME, CSA codes, and standards is considered an asset
• Must be familiar with weld mapping, as-built drawing generation, and document turnover
