Cahill Fabrication Structural, a division of The Cahill Group, specializing in fabrication of steel structures and modules for the offshore, mining and industrial sectors is currently recruiting Fitters and Apprentice Fitters to support operations at our fabrication facility in Torbay, NL. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components to fabricate beams in preparation for welding.

Roles and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible but not limited to –

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings.
• Interprets drawings and completes dimensional layout for fabrication work with the ability to perform tacking.
• Ability to efficiently interpret drawings and complete dimensional layout for fabrication work with the ability to perform tacking.
• Must be able to accommodate all position welders when needed.
• Adherent to company safety processes and procedures.
