Cahill is recruiting for a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex, high-value fabrication scopes within our Construction NL operations. From early-stage pursuits through to final execution and close-out, you will play a central role in shaping fabrication strategy, driving performance, and ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. What will you do?
Lead Projects End-to-End
- Drive project scopes from bid and proposal through execution and close-out
- Develop execution strategies that consider constructability, logistics, and regulatory requirements
- Ensure alignment with client specifications, contractual obligations, and industry standards
Deliver Complex Fabrication Work
- Lead execution of fabrication scopes across fabrication shops and client facilities
- Ensure integration between engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing, and installation requirements
- Oversee fabrication planning, sequencing, and resource allocation to meet project milestones
- Ensure all fabrication activities meet stringent quality standards, inspection requirements, and traceability expectations
Champion Safety & QHSE Excellence
- Lead a culture where working safely is a core expectation and every worker goes home safe
- Ensure compliance with Cahill’s Safe Steps Program, regulatory frameworks, and client requirements
- Partner with QHSE teams to execute inspection and test plans (ITPs), certifications, and risk mitigation
Lead People & Build Strong Teams
- Provide leadership to supervisors, coordinators, and skilled trades
- Foster a respectful, inclusive, and high-performing work environment
- Support mentorship and development across project teams
- Work effectively within unionized environments to ensure strong labour relations and proactive issue resolution
Own Commercial Performance
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control Lead contract management, including changes, claims, and scope variations
- Monitor schedules and implement recovery strategies where required Identify and mitigate technical, commercial, and regulatory risks
Partner with Clients & Stakeholders
- Act as a trusted interface with clients and stakeholders
- Lead resolution of complex technical and commercial challenges
Close Out Strong
- Ensure all turnover documentation, certifications, and deliverables are complete
- Lead financial close-out and capture lessons learned to strengthen future execution
What will you bring?
- 10+ years of project management experience in construction, offshore, subsea, or heavy industrial environments
- Proven experience delivering major fabrication scopes on large-scale projects
- Strong experience managing projects from bid through execution
- Experience working in regulated and/or unionized environments
- Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent technical background
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage complexity, and deliver results in high-stakes environments
