Cahill Technical Services, a division of The Cahill Group, is seeking qualified applicants for an Electrical CAD Designer to support our Engineering Division in Mount Pearl, NL. As an Electrical Designer, you will be primarily responsible for control panel designs using computer aided drafting tools (i.e CAD).
In this role, you are technically minded, enthusiastic, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. This will be a temporary position, working Monday to Friday.
What You'll Do:
- Executes all electronic drafting work assignments for multiple internal and external clients (e.g. project managers, field service technicians, etc.) as required.
- Contributes to ongoing development of engineering office drafting standards, and ensures all drawings are prepared to industry, client and internal standards.
- Coordinates design reviews, revision control, approval and distribution of completed drawings.
- Incorporates redlines from field markups to issue as-built record drawings.
- Maintains an orderly project drawing filing system on network drives.
- Assists with proposal preparation, estimates and report writing activities as required (primarily through drawing preparation).
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in preparation of electrical, instrumentation, and control system drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, prior experience with AutoCAD Electrical and/or ePlan is desired.
- Effective interpersonal skills and a strong orientation toward client satisfaction.
