HIRING WELDERS - UNIQUE OFFSHORE OPPORTUNITY
Newfoundland & Labrador
Project Description
The Cahill Pennecon Joint Venture is actively hiring Welders to be part of the West White Rose Project. This oil and gas project is a unique welding hookup project. Welders on this project will play a critical role in a first-of-its-kind offshore welding operation — joining the massive Concrete Gravity Structure (CGS) to the four legs of the Topside Modules. This is more than just a job; it’s a chance to be part of Canadian industrial history while earning exceptional pay in a short period of time.
Compensation: Welders can earn up to $80,000 in just 90 days — a high earning opportunity.
Mandatory Welding Certifications: Candidates must hold both S and T Class welding tickets. These certifications are strictly required for all candidates due to the technical demands and safety requirements of the offshore welding scope.
What to Expect: Two-Phase Project Schedule
- Shop Training (6 Weeks): Hands-on, specialized onshore training in St. John’s, NL to prepare you for the unique offshore work scope. Please note, there are medical and offshore survival pre-requisite requirements. You must also pass the job test to continue.
- Offshore Work Schedule (Begins August 2025): You’ll join a major offshore welding team tackling one of the most unique work scopes ever seen in Canadian offshore energy.
