Atlantica is looking for a qualified Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. In this role, you will report to the HR Advisor and support all HR functions, playing a key role in implementing HR strategies across the organization.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the HR Advisor and working in a fast paced and collaborative environment, you will:
- Be responsible for full cycle recruitment for project kick offs and corporate staff, ensuring we have a strong talent pipeline including job postings, prescreening, interviews, and reference checks
- Maintain accurate and timely HR records, including scanning and uploading documents to personnel files.
- Play a key role in employee engagement by promoting company programs that enhance employee experience
- Address concerns brought forward by employees from various lines of business
- Conduct Job Analysis interviews and develop job descriptions for new and existing roles
- Support the onboarding and orientation for new hires
- Conduct exit interviews and report trends to management
- Coordinate the mobilization of unionized workforce as needed for projects, ensuring site-specific requirements met for each employee
- Act as a champion for HR Management System (HRWize), including implementation and training
- Perform other duties as required
Who are we looking for?
Education and Experience:
- Completion of a University Degree, College Diploma, or Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management
- 1-3 years previous Human Resources experience, preferably in a Generalist or Recruitment role
- Experience with unionized workforce and collective agreements is considered an asset.
